City Council still meets in chambers when a packet is ready. The last posted evening on the older About page was a December session; call City Hall at (907) 785-3804 for the next date rather than trusting a leftover flyer.
Holiday closures for City Hall follow the list on the About page, including Elizabeth Peratrovich Day, Alaska Day, and the stretch around Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you need a harbor receipt or a clerk signature, do not arrive on those dates without calling first.
Season marks on the water
Spring opening of the transient float, midsummer barge days, and the late-September feast weekend still shape the harbor calendar. The home page Harbor bulletin keeps the recent marks: Opening 2026, 28 June 2024, and Michaelmas 2019.
School events and clinic clinics change by week. Use the Community numbers for the district and SEARHC if you are timing a visit around a game, a graduation, or an appointment.
